Handicap International has launched its #SCHOOL4ALL awareness campaign in Luxembourg to promote inclusivity for disabled children in schools worldwide.

Whilst the return to school after the summer holidays can be an exciting time for many children in Luxembourg, tje school doors will remain closed for 32 million kids around the world as a result of their disability. For these children, exclusion from education will prevent them fro developing their potential and talents or achieving their dreams, as well as increasing their risk of poverty and suffering from discrimination.

As a result, Handicap International has launched its new #SCHOOL4ALL campaign to mobilise and call for donations from the Luxembourg public for this major problem. The campaign aims to raise at least €1684, which is enough to allow a disabled child to go to school and get a quality education for one year. Indeed, the more that can be raised, the more children will have the chance to fulfil their dreams.

The initiative is divided into four points that are: providing prostheses and care for children with disabilities so they can return to school; the purchase of essential school material for children who often come from families who cannot afford to buy them; teacher training and raising awareness among parents on the importance of school for their children; making schools accessible.
