ECPAT Luxembourg is organising the second edition of its "ECPAT Week" from 19 to 24 November 2018.

The NGO ECPAT Luxembourg will once again present a week of various events around the theme of the European Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, held on 18 November.

The public will have the opportunity next week to understand more about child sexual exploitation and abuse in Luxembourg and abroad as well as how to protect themselves and what can be done to fight against it.

In total, 5 events for adults and children are planned, including a meeting with Mrs. Sunita Danuwar from Nepal, a survivor of sexual exploitation who was trafficked in her youth from her native village to the brothels of India and a human rights activist who founded the first NGO created by survivors. Also on the programme will be a magic show for children, presented by the magician PaSCal. The show will spread awareness of children's rights in a more playful way.

The full programme of the ECPAT Week is available on www.ecpat.lu.

ECPAT Luxembourg is an NGO accredited by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, which fights against the sexual exploitation of children in Luxembourg and in the countries where it has been operating since 1995.
