Prince Felix and Princess Claire at the Red Cross Bazaar 2018;

On Sunday 18 November 2018, the 72nd annual Red Cross Bazaar took place at the Halle Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, under the High Patronage of HRH the Grand Duchess, President of the Luxembourg Red Cross.

A few thousand visitors enjoyed more than 40 booths and activities offered throughout the day.

Their Royal Highnesses Prince Felix and Princess Claire attended the Bazaar. Upon their arrival, a bouquet of flowers was given to Princess Claire by the granddaughter of a volunteer. Along with Their Royal Highnesses, other notable attendees included Xavier BETTEL, Prime Minister of Luxembourg; Corinne CAHEN, Minister of Family, Integration and the Greater Region; Gast GIBERYEN, President of the Chamber of Deputies; Lydie POLFER, Mayor of the City of Luxembourg; Rita KROMBACH-MEYER, Vice President of the Luxembourg Red Cross; Manou HOSS, President of the Luxembourg-City Local Section of the Luxembourg Red Cross; Michel SIMONIS, Director General of the Luxembourg Red Cross; and Marc CROCHET, Deputy Director General of the Luxembourg Red Cross.

Prince Felix and Princess Claire tourer the bazaar and visited various stands, making a number of end-of-year purchases.

The event involved the support and participation of more than 300 volunteers from local Red Cross branches as well as several other volunteers who participated for the good cause.

The funds raised through the 2018 Bazaar will be used this year to support the Red Cross services that work to give a home to the most vulnerable.
