An InterNations event held at the Luxembourg Arquebusiers tennis club has raised €1,493 for the Handicap International #school4all campaign.

For the 3rd edition of the "Charity Tennis Tournament", InterNations organised a closing day at the Arquebusiers, a tennis club based in Val Ste Croix, on Sunday 10 February 2019.

On this occasion, 25 players met each other in mixed doubles, proudly wearing the colours of Handicap International. Indeed, thanks to the generosity of the participants, the sum of €1,493 was raised for the Handicap International campaign entitled #school4all, aimed at giving every handicapped child access to school. Moreover Henri Leconte, former tennis world number 5, presented the prizes to the players.

The funds raised as part of this sports competition will go towards the #school4all campaign. Today, 32 million children with disabilities do not have access to school. Considering that the sum of €1684 is enough to include a educate a child with a disability for one year, the amount raised by InterNations will practically ensure the schooling of a child.
