Luxembourg-based NGO Save One Life has added Project SHARE, a factor donation programme established by Laurie Kelley and operated by LA Kelley Communications, to its programmes.

Project SHARE is a humanitarian programme that donates factor to patients and clinics in developing countries. Since 2002, SHARE has donated more than 140 million IU (approximately $140 million worth) of factor to thousands of patients in 77 developing countries. It has saved lives and enabled people with bleeding disorders to attend school, have operations and work again.

Moreover, on Sunday 14 April 2019, Save One Life will, in partnership with the NYC Hemophilia Chapter and Octapharma, present Bombardier Blood to a theatre audience in Times Square. For this purpose, the NGO has called for donations for its auction at the film screening. Some much-needed items include theatre, concert or sporting event tickets, frequent flier miles, vacation rentals, unique artwork or jewellery.

Then, on Sunday 23 June 2019, Chris Seistrup, a cyclist with haemophilia B, will participate in "Wheels for the World: Lost on the Tour Divide!". The tour continues the legacy of the late Barry Haarde, the first person with haemophilia, HIV and hepatitis C to ride from coast-to-coast. That initial journey was named Wheels for the World and was the first of six amazing rides completed by the Texas native. Chris Seistrup will honour Barry’s memory by raising money to support Save One Life while racing across the country. Starting in Banff, Canada, Chris will join the Tour Divide and race to Antelope Wells, New Mexico, along the continental divide trail. In support of Chris, and in memory of Barry, Save One Life will host a local bike ride on 23 June 2019.
