Last month, Deloitte staff members distributed 470 hygiene kits distributed to beneficiaries of the Luxembourg NGO Stëmm vun der Strooss.

On 27 February 2019, five members of the firm Deloitte Luxembourg went to the social restaurant (7 Rue de la Fonderie in Hollerich) of Stëmm vun der Strooss. The purpose of this visit was to distribute free hygiene kits to the association's beneficiaries during the lunch break. Each kit included a shower gel, a toothbrush, a toothpaste, some cotton buds, a deodorant, a soap and some shampoo. The team distributed a total of 250 hygiene sets in Hollerich.

This initiative was launched for the first time in 2013 by Deloitte Luxembourg and is made possible through money raised by both employees and the support of the company. Indeed, employees volunteered to prepare the kits themselves before distribution.

The Hollerich restaurant was not the only distribution point, however. The following day, four Deloitte employees distributed a further 150 hygiene kits at the Esch-sur-Alzette restaurant (32 Grand-Rue). The post-therapy centre in Schoenfels, the Immo Stëmm service and the Schweesdreps and the Caddy in Bonnevoie also benefited from this action. In total, Deloitte volunteers distributed 470 kits across the two days.
