The Luxembourg Chamber Choir;

The Chœur de Chambre de Luxembourg will perform two concerts next month, on Thursday 22 March at 20:00 and Sunday 25 March at 17:00 in the Trifolion in Echternach and the Philharmonie in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, respectively.

The choir will be conducted by Antonio Grosu and will perform Mozart's Great Mass in C-minor, one of the most impressive works in the history of sacred music; in addition to this, the audience will hear Haydn’s famous Sinfonie 104 („London“).

Four excellent soloists will be engaged to sing with the choir, an ensemble from the Musique Militaire Grand-ducale and the orchestra ‘Résonances’ Sarre-Lorraine: Elizabeth Wiles (soprano), Charlotte Dellion (soprano), Thorsten Büttner (tenor) and John David Pike (bass).

The unique intensity of the Great Mass, its grandeur, the number of musicians on stage and its degree of difficulty make this work an event not to be missed each time it is given in concert.

Tickets: For the Trifolion, tickets cost €34 & €45 and are available at www.luxembourg-ticket.lu; for the Philharmonie, tickets cost €55 (reduced €33), €40 (reduced €24), €25 (reduced €15) from www.philharmonie.lu
