The Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL) has made a presentation of €3,700 to Think Pink Lux, a charity that supports women living in Luxembourg in their fight with the day to day reality of cancer, fund research and raises awareness of cancers that particularly affect women.
The money represents 50% of what was raised at the recent Irish Club Charity Ball held at Le Sud in Luxembourg-Clausen on Saturday 13 June, with the other 50% going towards Bardardos in Ireland, a charity that supports vulnerable children and their families and campaigns for the rights of all children.
The Charity Tombola featured four sections, each auctioned off between courses: Dining & Entertainment; Leisure / Sport / Travel / Gift Baskets; Art / Jewellery; Wine, Champagne & Whiskey.
