Last Saturday, the Luxembourg Rose committee organised the traditional Luxembourg tour for the five contestants who will vie for the title of Luxembourg Rose this coming saturday 12 March at the 2016 Rose Ball, along with the judges who got a chance to see the Rose contestants in an informal setting prior to Saturday's formal occasion.

In 2015, the Luxembourg Rose was Aedammair Ní Chiardha who will hand over her crown (tiara) to one of the five constestants for the Luxembourg Rose 2016 title:

She gained a BA in Irish Music and Dance in the university of Limerick where she studied performance, history and music and dance theory. She plays the traditional Irish flute and has a huge passion for all kinds of music. Cathy will be escorted by Victor Sallas.

- Emma Livingstone (21) is originally from County Mayo. She is currently finishing an internship in Luxembourg and plans to finish her accountancy exams to become fully qualified in the near future.
