BLC lunch organising committee;

On Friday 15 December 2017, the British Ladies Club (BLC) held its annual Christmas lunch at the Parc Alvisse hotel in Luxembourg-Dommeldange with around 70 ladies sitting down to lunch.

A pop-up market including 8 vendors was organised for the guests to be able to browse the lovely selection of goods for sale while they had an aperitif and chat. Everyone sat down to a tasty lunch of pumpkin soup and roast turkey followed by mince pies brought all the way from England for the occasion.

Entertainment, including short sketches, the Luxembourg Cinderella story and, of course, Christmas carols were provided during lunch by Angela Milne, Niamh Huggard and Liz Turner for everyone to enjoy.

The BLC had been donated a number of wonderful prizes for their tombola in which they raised €630 for the BLC's two chosen charities for 2017 - 2018.

Along with lunch, the guests received some small surprise gifts of candles made by a local charity and some evening gloves from Cynthia Albrecht-Lelliott, the BLC's Honorary President, which everyone had much fun wearing.

The BLC has extended its deepest appreciation to all those who came and made this such a successful and fun event and conveyed good wishes to everyone for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
