The Warwick University alumni association in Luxembourg is organising an event on Thursday 5 July 2018 from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Residence of the British Ambassador to Luxembourg (16 Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt, Luxembourg-ville), where they will address the topic "Geopolitics: Financial Crime and Political Security".

How often do you turn on your television, pick up a newspaper or go on social media only to find a discussion raging about a hot topic? From Facebook data breaches to heads of state exchanging heated words while the whole world watches, to the ever-changing map of terrorist hot spots, we live in exciting yet very tumultuous times.

If you are interested in insightful discussions on current affairs, the Warwick Alumni Association Luxembourg is organising an evening full of insight in a welcoming environment where they will talk about these and other related topics during their Annual Gathering. This event is open to the general public and looks to be a very lively event.

During the evening attendees will hear from a panel including Michael Weis, Partner Forensic & Financial Crime Leader at PwC, as well as invited NATO Staff members from the Operational Logistics Support, Christopher De Marco and Scott Cohen, who have first-hand experience in these matters. Special Guest will be Ms Joanna Denton, Chair at the British Chamber of Commerce here in Luxembourg.

Participation covering the aperitif dinatoire after the discussion is €35 per person. Registrations and payment online at:
