The Irish Club of Luxembourg is looking ahead at a busy programme of events.

First up will be an outing to the 9th annual British & Irish Film Season (BIFS) to see The Flag, a comedy by Declan Recks and starring Pat Shortt, Moe Dunford, Simone Kirby, Brian Gleeson, Sorcha Cusack. Synopsis: “A light-hearted comedy caper including farce and slapstick. Harry Hambridge (Pat Shortt) plays a down-on-his-luck builder who returns home to attend his father's funeral. When going through photographs and rekindling memories, he comes across a letter in which his grandfather testifies that he raised the flag in the 1916 rising. However, the flag now hangs in a British Army Barracks and he makes up his mind to get it with the help of Mouse Morrisey (Moe Dunford) and other friends...”.
