The comedy festival for women and non-binary people Festrogen will return to Luxembourg with a new edition next month, offering three workshops and two comedy shows from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 October 2023.

Festrogen Festival was founded in 2022 by comedians Erin Crouch, Anshita Koul, Mari Volar, Sharon VS and Jess Bauldry. The festival’s main goal is to “level the playing field for marginalised voices in standup comedy and promote equality”. The organisers believe that anyone who wants to can learn the tools to write and perform standup comedy.

In 2023, the City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL) joined Festrogen's list of official partners, which also includes CID Fraen an Gender, Le Croque Bedaine, Carlitos Comedy Club, Frilly Curtains Comedy and Qosqo. Laughs in Translation asbl, a non-profit organisation registered in Luxembourg, also supports Festrogen Festival.
