The Luxembourg Ministry of Equality between Women and Men is organising an "Intergenerational Dialogue" in the framework of International Women's Day, on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 March 2019.
As part of the International Women's Day, which is traditionally celebrated on 8 March, the Minister of Equality between Women and Men, Taina Bofferding, will bring together high school students from Lycée Belval and Atert Lycée Rédange, as well as residents of CIPA Sanem and the retirement home in Rédange/Attert to discuss the situation of women and gender equality, past and present.
The discussions will be preceded by the screening of the documentary Histoire(s) de femme(s) by director Anne Schroeder. This film brings together historical documents and moving testimonies from Luxembourgish women about their lives and links them with current feminist movements and issues.
The dialogue will take place on Tuesday afternoon at CIPA "Résidence op der Waassertrap" and on Wednesday morning at Atert Lycée Rédange.
