The event brought together developers and designers gathered in 21 teams, who participated in the two challenges designed by Docler Holding and Digital Luxembourg. In parallel to this 24-hour competition, the LuxGameFest (Local Area Network Party) attracted more than 40 players from the Greater Region.
PoinPy and Healthy Biking, the big winners of the challenges
The machine learning challenge, designed by Docler Holding, rewarded the "418 - I'm a Teapot " team in third place; in second place the team "Les bâlaises" and the big winner is "PoinPy", which developed an application mixing Health and Machine Learning. Each winner was awarded a voucher for the online hotel booking site Elvoline.com. The Open Data challenge, created by Digital Luxembourg, rewarded the "LTS1" team in third position; second place is the "Eklekt IA" team, and the big winner is the "Healthy Biking" team. A special prize was also given to the "PoinPy" team.
In parallel to the Game of Code, the LGX LuxGameFest, organised by the association 11Gaming, was a great success. The 42 spots for the LAN Party were booked in only 3 days while the Hearthstone tournament brought together 15 fans of this popular card game. To close the event, the final of the Call of Duty tournament, which brought together more than a hundred players from all over the Greater Region, was played on the stage of the Forum Geesseknäppchen.
