Pictet Asset Management will host a lunch seminar on emerging market debt (EMD) led by Andrew Grijns, senior client portfolio manager, on Tuesday 26 March 2019 in Hotel Le Place d'Armes, from 12:00.

Both hard and local currency emerging market debt had a strong start to 2019. EMD has been supported by a more dovish FED and attractive valuations. Investor sentiment further improved thanks to the widening growth differential between emerging and developed markets. However, global and emerging market growth may be moderating.

Andrew Grijns will thus discuss the ways in which the asset class perform in this environment and potential risks. He will review both local and hard currency emerging debt markets and share his strongest convictions for 2019 and beyond.

Registration will begin at 12:00 followed by the presentation at 12:15. The event will end with a walking lunch at 13:00.

The presentation will be held in English.
