The 11th European Congress on Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (EAMHID) is being held on Thursday 21 September 2017 at the European Convention Center in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

The EAMHID congress is held ever ytwo years in different European countries with the goal of offering doctors, universities, service providers and mental health experts the opportunity to learn about new and emerging developments in the domain of mental health.

Thursday afternoon's congress will be attended by HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, Luxembourg's Minister of Family and Integration, Corinne Cahen, and Luxembourg's Minister for Health, Lydia Mutsch.

Around 500 participants are expected from 26 countries; 4 keynote speakers (Johan De Groef (BE), Randi Hagerman (USA), Chris Oliver (UK), Régine Scelles (FR)) will address the attendees and 60 symposia will take place involving 180 presentations.

This year, the Fondation APEMH will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
