WIDE (Women in Digital Empowerment) has announced that it is organising a Pitching Funding Conference on Saturday, 23 September 2017, from 09:30 to 17:00 at Microsoft Luxembourg (23-29 Rives de Clausen, L-2165 Luxembourg-Clausen).

Pitching and funding are an inherent part of the journey of startup founders. Join the conference to learn more about it. Discover new tools to succeed and get inspired to pursue your project. This unique, one day conference is open to all who are interested to get more insight into the start-up world.

Pitching workshop

The way you pitch has a tremendous impact on your visibility and credibility. The first impression you make on investors, partners or clients can prevail on the success of your startup. During this interactive session attendees will cover these different kinds of pitches. They will work in groups on defining strong value proposition and how to be ready for any questions about your product. Together they will go through tips and hints to help them build a valuable pitch.

Funding session

During this session attendees will get an overview of the funding process and opportunities for a start-up, including an introduction to seed funding, introduction to Angel and VC funding: what it is, why you need it, and how to get it. The session gives a pragmatic overview of the whole fundraising journey, from preparing a story and finding the right investors to negotiating term sheets and valuation. This session is organised in partnership with LBAN.
