The Foyer Group has presented a cheque to Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) Luxembourg, with a value of €2,700, following the initiative of its employees in holding a charity auction of computer and technical equipment made available by the company.

MSF will set aside the money for the Ebola Emergency Fund, to provide aid to the onsite MSF teams managing the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, which is in critical situation. Active in around sixty countries across the world, the independent medical humanitarian organisation, aims at providing medical assistance to populations in distress, victims of natural and/or man-made disasters, as well as those of armed conflict.

Benoît Dourte, Director of HR, and Valérie Sayrignac, Head of Communications at Foyer presented the cheque to Flore Donati and Janet Steinmetzer, Fundraising Manager and Partnerships Manager at MSF Luxembourg, respectively.

Mr. Dourte highlighted the spirit of generosity shown by the employees and thanked them for this great collective commitment to the cause.

The employees’ great commitment towards solidarity is perfectly in line with the values of the Foyer Group, contributing to the country’s social and/or societal needs, as a company servicing the local community.
