Yesterday, 18 February 2016, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) presented a cheque for €6,010 to the Fondation Cancer at the Hotel de Ville on Place Guillaume II in Luxembourg city centre.

The presentation was the results of the proceeds of the Military Music concert on Thursday 28 January. In attendance were representatives of the Ville de Luxembourg (Lydie Polfer, Mayor; Patrick Goldschmidt, Alderman for Culture), the Fondation Cancer (Carlo Bock, President; Lucienne Thommes, Director; Marie-Berthe Feydet, Donor), the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (Tom Bellion, Director; Jean-Pierre Wagener, Vice-President; Renée Noesen, Guide, Luc Thillmann, Events and Culture; MCathy Giorgetti, Marketing / Relations Publiques), the Luxembourg Army (AdjMaj Claude Schmitz, Adjudant du Corps de l’Armée), the Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale (AdjMaj Christian Kirpes, Chef de musique adjoint; AdjMaj Marco Comes, Sous-officier musicien relations publiques; Sgt Isabelle Scholtes, Sous-officier musicien; Sgt Cheg Georges Glod; Adj Major Gilbert Holzem) as well as the D'Frënn vun der Militärmusek charity (Roby Raus, Vice-President; Robert Weyland, Committee Member).
