On Wednesday in Oestersund, Sweden, during the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship 2018, Luxembourg let slip a lead against Slovenia, losing 6-10 at the last end.

After good performances against Switzerland with many ends lost by just centimetres (1-10) and against Australia (2-8), Karen Wauters and Marco Etienne were leading 4-2 at halftime (4 ends) against Slovenia, but could not secure a victory and lost 6-10.

This loss was a big disappointment for the team, but are looking forward to Thursday's game against Italy in their last round robin game.
