At a total cost of €325,000 (including services - lighting, cleaning, etc.), the new Bike Park Boy Konen was inaugurated in Cessange on Sunday 17 September.
The initiative got off the ground following an appeal by three city cycling clubs - Pédale Mühlenbach, SaF Zéisseng, Vélo Sport Dommeldange - in 2015, for a VTT (mountain bike trail) course. As well as the main course, a junior course for beginners has also been created; both are located behind the all-weather hockey pitch.
The new facility is intended for both recreational sports and competitions.
