On Saturday 14 and sunday 15 May 2016 at 20:00, DanceXperience asbl is organising a Ballet Gala with international star guests at the Grand-Théâtre in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
After the great successes over the past three years, the Grand-Théâtre in Luxembourg city will host a new edition of the “Gala des Etoiles”. In addition to the "Dancer of the Decade" Lucia Lacarra, internationally acclaimed stars of the Ballet world will celebrate by dancing for the audience.
Igor Zapravdin, Pianist at the Vienna State Opera and Artistic Director of the Gala des Etoiles, has put together a programme that spans highlights from classical ballet to modern repertoire: excerpts from choreographic performance rarities, as well as neoclassical and contemporary choreography by Agrippina Vaganova, Angelin Preljocaj, Marius Petipa, Maurice Béjart, Ben Stevenson, Radu Poklitaru, Patrick de Bana, Juanjo Arques, Claude Brumachon, Russel Maliphant, Ronald Savkovic, Benjamin Pech, Jiri Bubenicek and others, framed by Igor Zapravdin’s solo performances.
