The annual Luxembourg Gala des Etoiles is scheduled for 6-7 July 2019 at the Grand Théâtre.

Following its success over the past six years, the 2019 edition of the ballet gala, under the theme of "Russian Seasons Mystery", will feature international guest stars such as Maria Eichwald, Liudmila Konovalova, Ketevan Papava, Kiyoka Hashimoto, Anna Ol and Evelina Godunova.

In addition to classical variations, the audience awaits creations, world premieres and sensational performances by these dancers, accompanied by live music by Maestro Igor Zapravdin, Artistic Director of the gala and pianist at the Vienna State Opera. Internationally renowned stars and soloists Dinu Tamazlacaru, Masayu Kimoto, Young Gyu Choi, Alessandro Staiano and Francesco Daniele Costa will also be present.

Likewise, the young Austrian star of Russian origin, Yury Revich, will be part of a creation at the gala. In his early 20's, Revich was awarded the 2016 title "Artist of the Year" at the ECHO Klassik Awards. He also regularly performs concerts of his Stradivarius from the year 1709 across the world. Also gracing the stage will be Daniil Simkin, who was a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre in 2017, and the dancer, actress and top model Maria Mogsolova who will pay tribute to Ida Rubinstein.

Two Luxembourgish creations are also on the agenda with Leipzig ballet soloist Natasa Dudar and her partner Lou Thabart as well as Annick Schadeck and Rhiannon Morgan.
