On Thursday 19 November 2015, Étienne Schneider held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov in the Grand Duchy.
The exchange between the Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister and the Tatarstan President focused on the political and economic cooperation between the Grand Duchy and the autonomous republic, and especially with the Russian Federation to which it belongs.
In order to strengthen trade between Luxembourg and Tatarstan, privileged partnerships and cooperations in the automotive sector will be examined and possibly developed.
