Some 8,000 Luxembourg households will be contacted from February 15 as part of a pan-European survey on topics such as income, poverty, social exclusion, work, education and health.
Coordinated by Eurostat, the European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions survey is carried out every year across 28 member states. The survey examines current data as well as measuring individual changes over periods of time. Since 2010, the information has been used to monitor poverty and social inclusion within the EU.
In Luxembourg, the survey will be conducted by the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) among households selected based on the “Registre National des Personnes Physiques”. It will conclude on 15 August.
