Luxembourg's financial regulator, the CSSF, has announced that the total assets under management by Luxemourg-ased financial institutions has risen abover €4 trillion for the first time.

As of 30 September 2017, the aggregate net assets of the undertakings for collective investment, including the UCIs subject to the 2010 Law, specialised investment funds and SICARs, amounted to €4,037.140 billion, compared to €3,987.328 billion as at 31 August 2017, an increase of 1.25% over one month. Over the past twelve months, the volume of net assets increased by 10.32%.

The Luxembourg UCI industry thus recorded a positive change in September amounting to €49,812 billion. This increase represents the balance of net positive issues amounting to €13,887 billion (0.35%) and favourable financial market developments amounting to €35,925 billion (0.90%).
