In the fourth quarter of 2017, real GDP growth in Luxembourg was +1.6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2016 and -0.1% compared to the previous quarter.
Annual changes in real GDP for 2017 have been revised as follows: +3.1% instead of +3.2% for the third quarter, +1.4% instead of +1.9% for the second quarter and +3.2% instead of +3.8% for the first quarter.
Indeed, the first estimate for the year 2017 was +2.3%. The added value of financial and insurance activities increased by 0.6% compared to the previous quarter and that of real estate activities by 1.5%.
