Today marked the official launch of the "Fit4Service" programme aimed at supporting companies in their quality of service approach in Luxembourg.

The Ministry of the Economy has just launched the Fit4Service support programme, which targets craft, commercial and catering companies wishing to improve their service quality.

Designed by the Ministry of the Economy in close collaboration with Luxinnovation, the programme covers, for the price of for €6,000, the expenses of an approved expert who evaluates the level of quality of service existing within the company and identify actions that would increase customer satisfaction. Following this diagnosis, the company will have a report that also makes proposals to further improve service quality. When the company decides to implement the proposed measures, it will also benefit from the general support scheme for SMEs aimed at promoting modernisation.

Alexa Ballmann, head of the Instituts de Beauté, one of the companies that took part in the pilot phase of the "Fit4Service" programme, commented: "It is necessary to regularly question the quality of customer service. I found that employees more readily accept the comments and recommendations that come from an external expert. Participation in the Fit4Service programme has provided real added value for my company."

Companies can participate in the programme by choosing an authorised consultant and filling out the online form available on the Luxinnovation website. An information sheet on assistance to further improve the quality of a company's customer service is also available on Guichet.lu.
