The final written examinations for secondary school pupils sitting the Luxembourg baccalaureate will begin on Tuesday 29 May 2018.

A total of 3,516 candidates, including 1,986 girls (56.5%) and 1,530 boys (43.5%), are registered for the 2018 summer session.

Enrollments for the various final examinations are as follows: 1,752 pupils (954 girls and 798 boys) from classic secondary schools ("première"); 1,737 pupils (1,023 girls and 714 boys) from technical schools ("treizième"); 27 students from evening classes (9 girls and 18 boys).

The written, oral and practical tests will be evaluated by 1,254 members of 196 examination boards.
