On Thursday, 19 October 2017, at the Palais Grand-Ducal in Luxembourg city centre, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke received in audience for the presentation of their credentials five new ambassadors to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The five new ambassadors included:

- His Excellency Mohamed Taha Mustafa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Yemen;

- Dato 'Hasnudin Bin Hamzah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia;

- His Excellency José Alberto Briz Gutierrez; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala;

- His Excellency Mr. Jasem Albudaiwi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Emirate of Kuwait;

- Her Excellency Mrs. Kaili Terrass, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia.
