On the occasion of World Water Day, on 22 March 2018, Luxembourg Environment Minister Carole Dieschbourg will reflect on measures taken by the government to protect drinking water.

This Thursday, Minister Dieschbourg will take stock of measures related to the protection of drinking water in a presentation entitled "Protecting our resources - Ensuring our security of supply", at the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure.

Environment Minister Carole Dieschbourg will also use this opportunity to explain the following points: the Grand Duchy’s drinking water needs in the short and medium term; the state of play in protecting our local and regional sources; challenges in the evolution of peak consumption; strategies to guarantee the safety of the drinking water supply in the medium and long term.
