Luxinnovation is organising a "Greater Region Plastic Conference" on the effects of plastic on the environment, next Tuesday 4 December 2018 from 09:30-17:00 at Legere Hotel in Munsbach.
The use of plastics and their impact on the environment, climate, oceans and human health are at the heart of today's concerns. A public debate will be even organised in the Chamber of Deputies following the petition asking to "restrict the use of plastic packaging in Luxembourg" which collected more than 5,000 signatures.
For industrial companies, it’s a major challenge, which is why the EcoInnovation cluster and the Materials & Manufacturing cluster, managed by Luxinnovation, are organising the Greater Region Plastic Conference. They are supported by the Greater Green Metacluster that links the Greater Region stakeholders in the economic, scientific and administrative sectors working in the field of environmental technologies and promotes cross-border growth and innovation.
