On Saturday 26 September 2015, the first edition of the 'Fête des Cultures Urbaines' (Festival of Urban Cultures) will take place at the station carpark in Dommeldange.

The Festival has been organised by the youth of northern districts of Luxembourg City, with the support of the AMIGO youth centre and the Médiacteur Streetwork component of the Association de Soutien aux Travailleurs Immigrés (ASTI).

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a multitude of concerts offered by the young artists of the neighbourhood, with a dozen singers and dancers due to perform on stage amidst a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The performances will showcase of dance and musical styles, including hip-hop, rap, oriental dance, capoeira and jombolo, whilst dining and drink areas will be available for that quick refreshment.

The Fête des Culture Urbaines will also offer art workshops for anybody interested in graffiti and various forms of street art, as well as an 'up-cycling' interactive stand from the Bamhaus association where participants can recycle their old clothes.

This end of summer celebration will begin at 15:00 and end at 22:00. Entrance and parking is free of charge, with access guaranteed for everyone.
