The University of Luxembourg today announced that its Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) will be present at the 10th edition of the Science Festival to be held in the Grand Duchy from Thursday 12 to Sunday 15 November 2015.

The LCSB will be bringing 'Scienteens Lab - De labo fir Jonker' to the Science festival. In Luxembourg's first biomedical research lab for high-school students, researchers at the University of Luxembourg will present experiments to test the five senses. In this way, they will explore the unconscious seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling that humans do regularly without thinking about it, and will ask questions such as 'Do we only see with our eyes?' or 'Do we only taste with our mouth?'

The workshops and shows will be open to the general public over the weekend of 14-15 November 2015. The Science Festival will take place at the Centre Culturel de Rencontre Abbaye de Neumünster and the Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle, 28 Rue Münster, 2160, Luxembourg-Grund.
