The first artists performing at this year’s Congés Annulés festival have been revealed.

From 27 July to 24 August 2018, the Rotondes summer programme will be in full swing with the return of Congés Annulés.

New guests will be performing at the 10th anniversary of this eclectic music festival, offering music, projections and other musical aperitifs of all kinds.

This year, the undisputed headliners will be Blonde Redhead on 23 August. These New Yorkers have been distilling music for more than 20 years dissonance and the emblematic voices of Kazu Makino and Amadeo Pace have made Blonde Redhead one of the references of indie rock.

Indie rock will also be honoured on 19 August with Ariel Pink whose latest album "Dedicated To Bobby Jameson" came out at the end of 2017.  The electro genre will also be represented with the new reference of the label Warp, Lorenzo Senni, who will perform on 27 July and who with his last album "The Shape Of Trance To Come" upset the traditional ideas of IDM and electronic music in general.
