The 7th annual Brazilian Film Festival in Luxembourg will take place from 2-9 May 2018, screening a series of films that showcase the diversity of Brazil, both as a country and in the cinema world.

This upcoming edition of the annual film festival is all about the discovery of the different cultures of this gigantic country. Indeed, for fifteen years now, Brazil has boasted many international festivals around the world, while being awarded prestigious awards and nominations at the Oscars and at the Berlinale. Likewise, the Brazilian Film Festival Luxembourg aims to be at the top of the cinematographic representation of the country abroad and especially in the Grand Duchy.

An independent festival developed by people passionate about their country, culture and cinema, this year the Brazilian Film Festival will present nine films each evening from 2-9 May, revealing a different atmosphere and a different cinematographic genre. From thriller to comedy to drama, the 8-day festival will showcase the cultural highlights of the country.

The films will be screened across Luxembourg, from NAC in Dudelange and Kinepolis Kirchberg to Cinémathèque and Ciné Utopia, for this colourful seventh edition.
