Following a stream of Special Guests over the past few days, the British & Irish Film Season 2018 is gearing up for a significant Documentary Double Bill on Thursday, with two film-makers in town for the screenings of their films.

Monday saw Simon Fellows, director of Steel Country starring Andrew Scott and shot in the US; Tuesday saw producer Hannah Stevenson, director Jason Wingard and actor Jack Carroll for their comedy Eaten by Lions, and Wednesday had Pauline Etienne over for Old Boys, a modern take on Cyrano de Bergerac.

Thursday sees a return to the Cinémathèque, with Maurice Fitzpatrick over for the screening of "In the Name of Peace: John Hume in America" at 18:30, followed by "Postcards from the 48%" with film-maker David Wilkinson, at 20:30. Both screenings will have post-screening Q&As.

Tickets €9/film or €15 for the double-bill, from www.luxembourg-ticket.lu; some tickets are expected to be available at the venue prior to each screening.
