The organisers of the 2017 Trophées Francophones du Cinéma have just announced their nominations; two Luxembourg films have passed the first round and appear in the list of nominees, candidates for the trophies:

- "ELDORADO", a documentary by Rui Eduardo Abreu, Thierry Besseling and Loïc Tanson (category: feature-length documentary); Production: Samsa Film

- "FOREIGN AFFAIRS", a documentary by Pasha Rafiy (category: Best Director); Production: Les Films Fauves

The Trophy ceremony during which the winners will be revealed is scheduled for Saturday 16 December 2017 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
