On Friday 15 March 2019, Intertrust Luxembourg announced the appointment of Tamas Mark as their Director Real Estate and Christiaan van Arkel as Business Unit Director Real Estate, both effective immediately.

These appointments are in line with Intertrust Luxembourg’s efforts to further strengthen its position on the market as an expert service provider for real estate clients.

Tamas Mark has extensive real estate experience stemming from his previous roles, in particular with managing the operational aspects of Luxembourg real estate holding structures and serving as a director on the board of key real estate client entities. In his new role, Tamas will be responsible for continuous operational improvement, oversight of key real estate client relationships, business development and building up strategic partnerships and cooperation with other leading stakeholders of the industry, such as advisors, auditors and asset managers.

Christiaan van Arkel brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus in client services. Christiaan has a proven track record in servicing private clients, private equity firms and multinationals as well as in leading international teams of accounting and legal professionals. In his new position, he will take over Tamas’ previous role and will be responsible for all accounting, legal and corporate matters for the clients of the Real Estate team of Intertrust Luxembourg, providing a seamless transition.
