Nordea announced Wednesday the appointment of Heikki Ilkka as new Group Chief Financial Officer.
Formerly head of Group Finance & Business Control in Norder, Heikki Ilkka will also become a member of Group Executive Management (GEM) and will be reporting to Group CEO Casper von Koskull from 1 January 2016.
Mr. Ilkka first joined Nordea in April 2015 as head of Group Finance, having previously worked extensively with Ernst & Young (EY). From November 2015 he led the Group Finance & Business Control unit within Group Corporate Centre, which will be a function with direct reporting to the Group CEO once Mr. Ilkka takes office.
