HR service provider Adecco Luxembourg has announced that it is looking for job offers for Ukrainian refugees in the Grand Duchy.

Adecco is currently searching for temporary assignments for Ukrainian refugees arriving in Luxembourg. The company has already contacted various small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large companies present in the Grand Duchy in preparation for possible job applications from many Ukrainians who will stay and look for work here.

Luxembourg has already taken in around 2,900 Ukrainian refugees and expects additional arrivals soon. Refugees who request it will be granted temporary protection. This status will allow them to stay and work, if they wish, for one year in Luxembourg.

"Our goal is obviously not to push Ukrainian refugees to seek employment. But we believe that if their stay is prolonged, they will undoubtedly need additional financial resources. This is why we consider it important to be able to offer them solutions if they are looking for them. We want to help people who are looking for ways to earn a living, even if they don't speak our language", explained Jan Dekeyser, Country Head of Adecco Group in Luxembourg.

Ukrainian refugees wishing to work temporarily in Luxembourg are invited to contact Adecco to explore their options. The HR service provider will take into account their background, training, language skills, needs and wishes. Furthermore, the group has guaranteed that Ukrainian refugees will work under legal working conditions and receive a fair wage.

"Like everyone else, we are wondering how to provide concrete help to Ukrainian refugees. If with the help of our customers we are able to offer them a job, then we will have modestly made our contribution to make the daily life of these people a little better", commented François Dauphin-Area Manager Luxembourg.

Jan Dekeyser, Country Head of Adecco Group in Luxembourg, added: "It is essential that Ukrainian refugees who wish to work can do so in good conditions. We are looking for companies that will be able to welcome them and offer them adequate support".
