Women In Digital Empowerment (WIDE) has announced the fourth edition of its Rails Girls Luxembourg, taking place on 21 October 2017.

The Rails Girls event brings together women aged between 15 and 60 who want to discover how to build an app in a fun way. The general aim is to give tools and a community for women to understand technology and build their ideas.

During the free one-day workshop, participants will explore the world of Ruby on Rails and build an application together from scratch.

Applications for the workshop are open until 8 October 2017 and more information can be found online at http://railsgirls.com/luxembourg.html.

Moreover, due to high demand, WIDE will be offering a range of activities to help inspire girls to become digital creators and consider IT as a career path. They will also offer activities for girls in lycées during the Toussaint holidays on 30 and 31 October.
