Devoteam, a Pure Player in Digital Transformation of large organisations in EMEA, has today announced the launch of Devogame, the third edition of its annual student competition: now open for the first time to Luxembourg students, a wide range of teams composed of two to five students will compete from leading European schools and universities.

The competition is an opportunity for Devoteam to recognise and foster innovative new talent.

Students have just two weeks to register their teams from Monday 8 October on the dedicated site: http://devogame.devoteam.com, as well as watch the accompanying launch video.

Once registered, students will access the virtual game "Phantom Mission" in which they must devise solutions for a series of problems and puzzles.

Two finalist teams per country will be selected to present their work in a TEDx format at the Devoteam global headquarters in Paris in December, with the winning team awarded a behind the scenes trip to the CES electronics show in Las Vegas in January 2019. Members of the jury panel include Stanislas de Bentzmann, President and co-founder of Devoteam, and Anthony Priestman, EMEA Business Development Manager Cloud at Red Hat.

"Devogame is an opportunity for students to work on innovative technical solutions, as well as an opportunity for them to learn more about what a career in IT entails,” said Devoteam Luxembourg Country Manager Wilfrid Lagrange. “As Devoteam continues to grow, we are seeing a stronger need to not only reach students with technical skills such as engineers, but also non-traditional students who may need to strengthen their own IT competence or are intrigued by industry developments such as artificial intelligence.”

Devoteam plans to complete the recruitment of 2,000 new employees in Europe by the end of 2018, with other initiatives in place to recruit young graduates during 2019. Devoteam Luxembourg currently has 100 employees and plans to recruit an additional 65 employees in the coming months.
