Sixteen Luxembourg start-ups travelled to Las Vegas earlier this month to represent Luxembourg at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019.
Selected among more than 120 candidates, the sixteen start-ups formed this year's Luxembourg Village, organised by Luxfactory, at the CES from 7-10 January 2019.
CEO and President of Luxfactory Elodie Trojanowski and Jérôme Grandidier were responsible for organising the official Luxembourg Village at the CES, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. They commented: "We now aim firstly to have an economic mission, official representants, to join us. Secondly, we want to lower the price of participation for startups".
In collaboration with ArtDesignPaiting and its founder Cyril Nardon, Luxfactory designed a booth with national colours to attract people. Meeting places, drinks, and national symbols were there, to create a Luxembourgish athmosphere in the middle of Las Vegas. It was here that the sixteen local startups came together to create the perfect coalition.
The chosen start-ups were as follows: Atis Network; Art Design Painting; BIM-Y; CarVroom; ClearImage; CoinPlus; Crowdaa; Koosmik; LuxAI; Motion-S; MuDesign; My Sardines; Scrybto; Skeeled; SYDCloud; Yatta Development SA.
