The Luxembourg quadripartite committee will examine the financial situation of sickness and maternity inurance at their next meeting on Wednesday 7 November 2018.
As well as sickness and maternity insurance, the committee will analyse the latest financial forecasts for the years 2018 and 2019 at their meeting, to be held under the presidency of Minister of Social Security Romain Schneider and in close collaboration with Minister of Health Lydia Mutsch.
Subsequently, Romain Schneider will present an update of the implementation of new benefits along with improvements to existing benefits for the insured. This quadripartite will also be an opportunity for Lydia Mutsch to review the application of the new law on hospitals.
Finally, the committee will focus on the implementation of recommendations of the audit on the functioning of the emergency services.
The quadripartite committee provided for in Article 80 of the Social Security Code brings together all the parties involved in the governance and operation of sickness and maternity insurance.
