Bilateral and EU Relations with Ukraine Discussed in Luxembourg

Luxembourg Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn today discussed bilateral and EU relations with the parliamentary friendship group Ukraine-Luxembourg of the Verkhovna Rada in the Grand Duchy.

During the working visit to Luxembourg of the Ukraine-Luxembourg Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Verkhovna Rada on Monday 18 September 2017, Minister Jean Asselborn discussed the positive bilateral relations between the two countries before dealing with current situation in Ukraine and its relations with the European Union.

The discussions also provided an opportunity to take stock of the situation along the line of contact and in the Crimea, as well as the implementation of the Minsk agreements and the deployment of a UN peacekeeping operation in eastern Ukraine.
