Sweeping musical conventions, the Abbaye de Neumunster (neimënster) in Luxembourg-Grund is to host the RESET jazz festival, described as the opportunity to reconsider everything we thought we knew about jazz.

To carry out the project, neimënster has invited Pascal Schumacher as artistic director. The rising stars of jazz from Luxembourg, Norway, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Hungary and Denmark are invited to share a residence of a few days between the walls of the abbey.

Hungry for encounters and new experiences, they will meet for several blind dates that will allow them to weave exceptional artistic encounters under the eyes of the public.

In the pure tradition of a set always renewed, the musicians will take possession of the different spaces of the abbey.

Each portrait, created by the Luxembourg artist Antoine Grimée, will be "placarded" through social networks.

"Four musicians and four musicians from eight different countries - offering parity on stage is a sacred revolution in jazz, a genre that is traditionally dominated by men" Pascal Schumacher
