Following the recruitment process launched in July 2018, the national tourism promotion agency Luxembourg for Tourism (LFT), under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy, announced today the appointment of Sebastian Reddeker as the new CEO of LFT .

"Sebastian Reddeker has the necessary skills to develop a long-term vision for the promotion of Luxembourg, in line with the "Tourism 2022" strategy of the Ministry of the Economy, which formulates the way Luxembourg wants to position itself as a tourist destination that is quality and diverse. Mr. Reddeker's main mission will be to implement a marketing strategy that takes into account market trends, particularly in terms of digitisation, while listening to all national tourism stakeholders," said Romain Weber, President of LFT.

Sebastian Reddeker, 39, holds a doctorate in communications from the University of Luxembourg. Between 2011 and 2017, Mr. Reddeker was employed at the Luxembourg Confederation of Commerce (clc), first as a project manager for the development of Luxembourg as a business hub in the Greater Region, then as a project manager in the domain "cities and commerce". In early 2018, he joined Luxembourg for Tourism as Content and Innovation Manager. Since May 2018, Mr Reddeker has previously held the position of Director General of Luxembourg for Tourism.
