Ingrid Dubourdieu, Country Managing Partner, Luxembourg;
Fieldfisher has announced that it has launched a new finance and funds-focused office in Luxembourg, hiring Ingrid Dubourdieu as Country Managing Partner.
Ingrid advises local and international financial institutions and professional investors, on all Luxembourg legal, regulatory and compliance matters. She specialises in the structuring, setting-up, documentation and conduct of business, of regulated and non-regulated investment funds (UCITS and AIFs - all asset classes such as capital markets, hedge funds, private equity, real estate, distressed assets, tangible assets, and Fintech).
Ingrid also advises EU and non EU asset managers and family offices on their implementation and activities in Luxembourg. She also advises companies and start-ups active in Blockchain. Other areas include AIFM, AML, data protection, PE/RE transactions, group restructuring, re-domiciliation, and cross-border mergers.
Fieldfisher intends to expand the Luxembourg office's services to include corporate M&A and tax & international tax. With Ingrid's arrival, the firm's funds capability now extends across London, Paris and Luxembourg, with plans to launch a funds practice in its newly launched Frankfurt office.

Ingrid has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1998 and is in regular contact with the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) on all matters relating to the licensing and setting-up of investment funds, management companies and asset managers. She also sits in a number of working groups with the Association Luxembourgeoise des Fonds d’Investissement (ALFI).
Luxembourg marks Fieldfisher's ninth jurisdiction following its most recent launch in The Netherlands in May 2017 and brings its total number of offices to 20. Frankfurt was the firm's most recent new office which launched on 3 April 2018 focusing on the financial services sector with special regard to digital business models in the finance industry.
